Akasha, I love Thee…

March 22, 2011

It has been many nights

that I weep dearly. ..dearly…

but at the end of the journey I hear thy songs,

and the dreaming stars tremble with love.

Then, the celestial muses kiss themselves with thy chants…

Thou art a sealed book of twelve seals.

I do not know if Thou art joy or venom.

I am at the edge of an abyss, which I do not understand:

I feel fear of Thee and of thy mystery.

Akasha, I adore Thee…

I want to drink the Mandrake’s liquor,

I want to kiss thy bosom,

I want to feel the chant of thy wordsand I want to ignite my fires.

Akasha, Thou cannot forget me,

Thou told me that Thou loves me

and Thou swore to me thy love,

in those adored nights…

in those nights of idyll…

in those perfumed nights…

nights of chants and nests…

Queen of Hell, ignite my wick,

ignite my flame of triple incandescence;

nubile Vestal of a divine temple…deliver to me the fruits of science

-Enlil

Ardent, ardent roses,.. .igneous serpents. ..hiss. . .hiss eternally upon the waters of life, in order for the worlds to emerge…

You are the Divine Fire of all infinite existences,

The fire of the Holy Spirit, the flame of Horeb…

The fire of chastity, of Sexual Magic, of the Pentecost, the fire of Kundalini… YOU are the fire which Prometheus plundered from heaven…

You are the sacred flame of the temple, ignited by the vestals…

You are the Divine Flame of triple incandescence…

You are the chariot of fire on which Elijah went up into heaven!

And when the foundations of this world are burnt down Ye shall rise & shall still be as You were before, without suffering any change.

Oh, Akasha,  You, the Eternal Fire!

Trataka

February 1, 2011

The word ‘Trataka’ means to gaze steadily.

Trataka is gazing without blinking at an object placed directly in front of the eyes.

At the time of practising Trataka the eyeballs should remain steady and the eyelids should not flicker.

No object except the one on which trataka is to be performed should be seen and the mind should not wander hither and thither but be merged in observation of the object.

The impression of the object falls on the optic nerves… the shadow of the object falls on the eyes and then on the retina. The optic nerves of the retina are connected by the sensory nerves with the brain. The brain has several centres which are connected with the optic nerves. These centres receive information through the optic nerves and send out commands. Many of these centres are asleep or inactive.

Trataka does not merely increase the function of perception. Through the medium of perception the centres of the brain which remain inactive in an ordinary person are awakened.

Man is capable of becoming a superman if he is able to awaken and activate those glands and nerve centres which in the natural course of evolution are in an inactive state.

“All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not reached by frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
Alight from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crown-less again shall be King.”

John R.R. Tolkien
